My name is Krista. I am a independent hairstylist at Sam Wong Salon, a serene, eco-conscious space in Frederick, Maryland. I offer custom haircuts, root touch-ups, all-over color, highlights, balayage, color corrections, and vivid color services, always with a focus on scalp and hair health. With nearly 20 years of experience, I tailor healthy, personalized haircare using organic color and allergy-friendly products. I bring a teaching background as a former educator at Paul Mitchell cosmetology school and ownership of my own studio, enriching every client consultation with deep insight. I currently reside here in Frederick with my two teenage sons. While I'm not in the salon I enjoy live music, art museums, and watching reruns of the Golden Girls. ☺️ I base my prices on the length and density of your hair. Cancellation Policy

Life happens. Please let me know if you need to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before your appointment. Several cancellations will prevent you from booking future appointments. If you are not satisfied with your hair please let me know within 72 hours of your appointment for a redo appointment that will be booked immediately. No refunds.
